Chyna3032 Posted January 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2017 Unless I missed it, I never saw anything about the Breeze delay for an entire day this past weekend. They weren't allowed into the port until the very next day due to fog. I've never heard of this. Does Carnival give them some type of assistance with their flights home? http://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=7465
SLCfirsttimer Posted January 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2017 They (Carnival) may provide free internet access or allow them to call their airline for free to allow them to change their flights, but outside of that I do not believe they are under any obligation to provide any additional assistance to passengers delayed by fog. Trip insurance may cover this depending on what type of policy is purchased.

I will be purchasing insurance from now on.
