Stop at Port Canaveral

Are there any beaches close to the port for a one day cruise stop? I can't seem to find s forum on port canaveral for information.

I think Cocoa Beach would be the closest beach to your port.

Yes, very close. There are taxi's and shuttles right outside the terminal that will take you there. Also, you can take any shuttle going to Ron Jon's which has a nice shopping area and walk to the beach area directly behind it. There are restaurants and places for drinks right along the beach and also public restrooms to change and shower off after the beach. Then take either a shuttle or taxi back right from there back to the ship.

Jetty park beach is right there by the port. You can google it and look up the info. It may be still closed b/c of hurricane mathew though. It does have nice reviews on tripadvisor.
