Hi,

Don't know, but if you google the following hotels, I'd recommend them in order of personal choice:

1. Karmina Palace (extensive pools and small beach)

2. Gran Costa Real Manzanillo (medium pool and small beach)

3. Las Hadas (medium pools...didn't see beach)

4. Club Maeva (largest pool in area of all resorts in ZLO, private beach club also with banana boats, boogie boards)

5. Grand Bay (A1 resort but located 1 hr north by bus at Barra de Navidad). Bus only runs every 2-3 hours.

Hope this helps.

Ciao for now!!!

I emailed the Karmina, and this was the reply I got:

"The cost for day pass is 75 .00 USD included breakfast,

lunch and international drinks, towels.

Hope this helps, I would assume you could just take a taxi, and pay once you got there???

Yes I would love to know we leave one month tommorow and had planned excursion in the ports we were scheduled to go to. But found out a few weeks ago about the changes to our ports. Would love any suggestions if people have used any of these hotels. Thanks!

La Hadas was beautiful. The beach was soft sand with very clear, calm water. Good snorkeling, although you could see fish and small rays at your feet without snorkle. Floating dock to swim to. Lounges, nice pool. Very nice palapa restaurant a short walk down the beach. We used our vouchers for lunch there, as well as for drinks on the beach. They would not let us use vouchers for snorkle equipment, which was $10, but you could use them for small souveneirs in the gift shop. $12 cab ride from pier, about 25 minutes. very nice day, felt like old mexico, no vendors on the beach --a big plus.
