CruisePrincess6 Posted January 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2017 We will be staying at the Renaissance Santiago Hotel on Valentines Day just before going on a cruise. Wondering whether to eat in the hotel or is there a good restaurant close by.
pickypicky Posted January 30, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2017 There are some nice restaurants within walking distance. Miraolas had a lovely atmosphere and excellent service. We enjoyed a pisco sour and a great meal there. (Try the ceviche.)There is also a mall just up the street with several restaurants, some of them chains, but still probably better than hotel food. We were tired one evening after a long day of sightseeing and did order sandwiches and drinks out on the Marriott's lovely patio. There was a live performer and the night was beautiful and in that case breaking my no-hotel food rule was a good decision!
