Freeport Swim With Dolphins

We're going on the Carnival Pride this summer and want to do one of the dolphin excursions. Can anyone tell me if you need to put your head under water for Unexco's Swim with dolphins? (A few of us wear contacts and don't particularly want to submerge our heads.). Also, can you touch the bottom with your feet? Our kids are tall enough for the excursion but the water looks pretty deep. Thanks!!!!
