Nassau w Teen & Tween Ideas

We'll be in Nassau as a family of 4. Hubs, myself, Teen, & tween. We want them to enjoy themselves, and get a feel for the city, but safety is the main focus. I'd love some beach time, after some walking around. We're sailing on Carnival, in Oct. I'll get on Trip Advisor, later. Wanted some budget friendly suggestions from parents who've spent the day there. We like all foods, & try to eat like locals when traveling. No bars. Maybe a place to grab a bite & enjoy a beach. You can get a Independent tour at the port for 20$

 

You can take a 4$ cab ride to Atlantis, It is worth seeing the free area.

 

You can also go to the Pirate museum.
