Hi NoName. I am looking at Deck 9 and trying to figure out which elevators you are talking about. Does this "secret" elevator show up on here? Is it the one circled in yellow? From your description it sounds like it should be somewhere between the red and purple.

 

 

The "secret" elevators are in the purple circle. They are in the bank of four towards the left side of the circle. The outside two are the "secret"elevators and the two middle elevators are service elevators that are separated from the outside"secret" ones by walls or doors, depending on which deck you are on.

The real secret elevators are directly behind the purple circle. There is one on each side. If you look carefully, you can see them on the deck plan. There is a large mirror near each one so it looks like more, but there is only one on each side. We were lucky our cabin was a few feet away..

We boarded 2/4 and thought the Photo group were some of the rudest and incompetent people we ever met. They never opened on time and argued with everyone. I mentioned it to Guest Services and also wrote it in my comments.

Sad to hear on the photos, as my daughter bought the package based on being able to buy any of the photos that she or her boyfriend might be in. We heard others saying as long as they were in the photos they could be purchased. Overall we have 4 cabins booked, which she might want a photo of her and I or, her and her brother who is in a different cabin. Will be interesting to see what they let her purchase. Though I know she plans on making her BF take lots of pictures, so even if she doesn't get 100 I am sure she will still get he money's worth.

That wasn't our experience last week. We picked our seats, then I sent my husband out for drinks and he brought them back. Perhaps we just got lucky? Kim

 

We didn't have any problems taking drinks in either. Lots of people were.
