Camp Registration on Princess?

Can anyone explain the camp registration process on Princess? We are sailing Dec. 3 on the Caribbean Princess with a four year old and a five year old. I have heard on other threads you should get to the regisration at least 1/2 hour before the stated time? True?:confused:

All you do is fill out the emergency cards and they explain to you that in your kids age group that you will have to have a picture ID when you pick them up or they won't be released. You can pick up the registration card card if you go by the fun zone during open house hours. Their daily schedules will be in your cabin when you go in.
