kgb46 Posted February 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Now that the new stagger check in has started at Port Canaveral I would like to find out from someone that has done this as to what time the terminal opens for check-in. We will have a rental car and need to know what time to turn it in and hop on the shuttle to the port.
dmndlil Posted February 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2017 We just returned on 2/11 and the first checkin time on 2/4 was 11:00am. I hope this helps.
A&Jfamily Posted February 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2017 When we were there in December it too 30 min from the turnoff to get to the drop off point. Traffic was horrible. So go with a fluid happy attitude and expect some delays... Sent from my iPhone using Forums
citcatt1 Posted February 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2017 I'm going back and forth between the Magic and Vista same itinerary, same date just different ship and port.

Things just seem to go smoothly. Good luck with your choice.
Techycruiser Posted February 16, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2017 I am going out of Port Canaveral in Sept and I didn't see any check in time options. Maybe because I was able to get FTTF. Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

cmichael1279 Posted February 17, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 17, 2017 A couple weeks ago, we dropped the car off around 12:30, got on the shuttle and pretty much walked right on the ship, lines were very minimal.
harpat0408 Posted February 17, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 17, 2017 We just got off the ship as our cruise was January 28 and it was supposed to be the first week of stagger check in I had an 11 AM check in time but I also have faster to the fun. Nobody checked any kind of documentation of any kind when we walked through the door at 9:50 in the morning. And we were on board by 11:10am Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Seams like a waste of money, just saying
kgb46 Posted February 20, 2017 Author #12 Share Posted February 20, 2017 why would you buy FTTF , if you had priority boarding with the suite. Seams like a waste of money, just saying First, there are a few extra perks that FTTF offer that you don't get with a suite. Second, it is for personal reasons.
