Question about credit

I have a cruise booked for 2018. We are being given $1000 onboard credit, Wifi, pre-paid gratuities and $500 credit after sailing. What does after sailing mean? Is it a credit we will get if we book another cruise or credit on our final bill? We have been on many O cruises, and have never seen this before.
