Rain, Rain, Go away...Mr. Barbados..is it really raining?

Hi Bajan Keith,

We will be in Barbados 12/15 on the Serenade. Have never been there before. Ship offers so many excursions it seems hard to pick just one! Barbados seems to be such a beautiful island we can't wait to get there!

Any recommendations on what not to miss? Thanks for the info.

There is so much to see it is quite difficult to pinpoint any particular activity. I don't know what your personal likes or dislikes are but they are a couple of excursions I prefer personally.

 

There is the Island Safari Tour which takes you off road and to some interesting sites and culminates with a delicious lunch at Bathsheba Beach...which is a very scenic location.

 

The boatyard is also a very nice place to relax and enjoy the sun & fun on the beach.

 

You will be visiting during the height of the christmas season so they will be alot of things in the heart of town(which is just a stones throw away from the port) to do and see. You will really get to experience a true caribbean style Christmas.

What a difference a week makes! Yikes. Yes it was still raining. ;)

Spend most of the cruise last week in the rain, Barbados on 12/7. Seemed like it it was follwoing us from island to island. Hope it dries out soon. We had a nice time there, but didnt get to do what we had planned on due to the rain.
