suenden Posted February 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2017 Does anyone know if you can connect a hard drive or USB to the staterooms tv on the Sea Princess? We will be on a 35 day cruise to Hawaii and thought we may use this some days/nights if its possible. Would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks. Kiwihdrider Posted February 21, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2017 Was on the 2016 world cruise and like you had hoped to be able to hook another hard drive to the TV. Unfortunately you can't, there was a USB port but the remote had been locked so you couldn't access the TV's setting/ menu.. you are stuck with the channels princess have programmed. Being aware of this I had taken a universal remote to help but that didn't work on the TV. My solution purchased a cheap 32 " TV ($180 ish) and used it as a monitor for my laptop. I then could watch all my stored TV/ Movie files on it. Sent from my iPad using Forums

HelenSteady Posted February 23, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 23, 2017 I have heard that the new tvs are being put in with the dry dock at the end of the year and they'll be what we had on the Diamond a couple of years ago where you could choose what movie you watched, when you wanted to. New beds coming too, thank goodness.
