jasm8449 Posted November 15, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2005 You might ask for a dining room waiter that speaks Spanish...a lot of the staff is from the Phillippines, where Spanish is also spoken.
Susa Posted November 15, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted November 15, 2005 Thanks! Do we ask once we get on board or as we walk into the dining room the first day? Or do we call now...?
ocngypz Posted November 15, 2005 #4 Share Posted November 15, 2005 When you board, you will need to see the Restaurant Manager or his designee. Check the Century Daily for the times. This will be for changing dining assignments, but you can also speak to him about your folks. I'd venture to say that more crew members speak Spanish as a first language than English, so your folks shouldn't have a problem. Copies of the Century Daily are available in English. Your agent should note your parent's pnr that Spanish is their primary language.
superjerryw Posted November 15, 2005 #5 Share Posted November 15, 2005 The ship should also have an international host or hostess that is available at guest relations. This person normally speaks several languages and could help your parents with any other problems that they might encounter.
