Charges for Stewards, Waiters, etc. ???

I can't seem to remember how much we are charged for each staff that takes care of the cabins.

 

I know the charge is automatically added to your ship account. I just cannot remember the breakdown for each person per day.

 

By the way is there a way or channel on the TV in your room where you can keep track of your daily charges? It sure would be helpful to know how much you are spending each day.

 

I would appreciate any help.

On NCL they charge your onboard account $10 per day per person to cover the tips for the room stewards and dining rooms staff. Easy to keep track off.

You can go to the Reception Desk and ask for a printout of your charges to your on board account each day.

A tip....do not go the last night to reception to check your charges.

.......unless the passenger is a minor child, in which case it is $5 per day. :)

I am sure it would be easy to add more $ for good service. Can the tip be negotiated downward if the service is poor?

I believe they ask for the opportunity to try and correct the situation to your satisfaction before you decrease the amount, but it's my understanding that failing that you can decrease the amount to what you feel is appropriate.
