Did I read somewhere that the hotel was open again, but that the pool was closed? Does anyone have any information on that?

I'll assume you're talking about Embassy Suites Fort Lauderdale... Yes, the hotel is open and has been now for some time. It wasn't closed for as long as they originally thought it might be.

If you go to their Home page on their web site, it states that the hotel is open, pool and sauna will be open on Nov. 30th,2005.The web site has been a little updated also.:) Jaxson
