We have the 8:15 traditional dining...based on what you shared, we miss some gameshows that start right at 8:15, and knowing dinner takes longer than an hour usually...will miss out on anything around 9 as well. Thanks for the patters, 5 months to go!

Yea, if you have a specific event you don't want to miss, having traditional dining sometimes isn't the greatest.

That's one of the reasons we switched to anytime dining a long time ago and if it interferes with something we really want to attend we'll just go to the buffet.

btw- the buffet on the Royal is much better than the other Princess ships & we actually prefer it to the DR lots of evenings.

Wow for such a long cruise I only saw 3 nights of karaoke and the Voice of the Ocean finale the last night. Not much karaoke from what I'm used to. Thanks for posting the patters.

We made the switch to anytime dining. It just made more sense this time around. I'm super excited for this buffet, I've heard really great things. I'm also really intrigued by the seafood bar and the champagne bar!
