Port of Miami

HI!

We are 6 adults, traveling from the Ft. Lauderdale Airport to Miami, where we will be staying overnight and boarding a ship in the morning, we are looking for advice on either getting from Ft.Lauderdale to Miami cheaply or renting a car.

The problem is we haven't been able to find a rental company that will either let us drop off the car at the pier or drive us to the pier after dropping the car.

any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreachiated!

We are doing the same thing this Friday. We reserved a "share a ride" with Tri County Express. They are located at FLL airport and will transport six of us to our hotel in Miami for $102.00. You normally don't need reservations for the share a ride, but since there are six of us they gave us a reservation. This is more expensive than a rental car, but very convenient.

We used Larrys Limo service, cost was around $200 round trip total. We stayed overnight in FLL. he picked us up at the hotel drove us to the port and was waiting there to pick us up after the cruise. A very nice way to start and finish your vacation.
