Astro Posted June 1, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2004 Since the Caribbean Princes has its Spa run in-house, does anyone know if they offer the Ionithermie Algae Detox treatment offered on other Princess ships. Thanks.

CruiseFever Posted June 1, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 1, 2004 Astro- first- Welcome Second, I've been looking at Spa treatments to give my daughter as a present...do you think that would be a good one? I really have no clue on some of these, they sound so fancy, so I wanted to jump right in here when I saw someone who sounds like they know what they're talking about! Astro Posted June 1, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted June 1, 2004 Chris, My wife swears by this treatment. She loved it on the Diamond and was very excited to book the CP just to get this treatment a couple of times. It is intended to not only detox but specifically reduce the amount of cellucite. They advertise it as being able to loose from 2 up to 8 inches from every treatment.

AmyinGA Posted June 1, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 1, 2004 Chris--giving an Ionithermie treatment would be a questionable gift for a woman IMO. Since it is marketed as a "lose inches and cellulite" treatment the receiver might not take it well. I did have this treatment on a cruise--I was a model for the spa--so it was free, but I don't know if I'd pay for it. I'd rather get 4 or 5 massages instead. If my husband had given this to me as a present he'd end up sleeping on a pool chair.
nithya Posted August 8, 2008 #7 Share Posted August 8, 2008 This finds to alot of people that go on cruises . i think its essentially because your not on land like at all , and no ones body gets " used to it " even though it feels like you are . also it could have been something you ate out of the ordinary . --------------------------- Nithya http://www.detox24.com
