Have you stayed at La Quinta Inn - Ft. Lauderdale Airport (Hollywood FL)?

We have this hotel reserved for 1 night pre-cruise next week.

We should arrive about 1:30 in the afternoon. Trying to find out if there are any restaurants for lunch or dinner within walking distance to the hotel? It doesn't appear that the hotel has a restaurant on site (only continental breakfast).

If you've stayed here can you tell me a little about the area? What might be available?

Thanks.

It's on the south side of Oakwood Plaza Mall and you can walk to Wendy's, Red Lobster, Sweet Tomatoes, Sal's Italian Ristorante, Hollywood Ale House, Dave and Buster's TGIFriday's and Moonlite Diner.

Perfect! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for the info! Are there any places to get wine and cases of pop close by?

There is a K-Mart with a good selection of popular wines and a BJ's Wholesale Club where you don't need a membership to buy alcohol.
