mspinky36 Posted March 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2017 I will be going on a back to back trip with the Valor in April. How does it work when the first leg is over? What are the procedures for my luggage and new room key? Thanks for any info y'all have.

They will make you leave the ship with your luggage and then re-board, security, keys, etc
mspinky36 Posted March 13, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted March 13, 2017 Thanks for the reply. Is there anyone else who can give me a more detailed description of how the transition works? I read somewhere that everyone that is doing a b2b will meet at a specified place and time and a crew member takes you thru the terminal to get re registered. I was wondering if that still happens. Ohio Bucki Posted March 13, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2017 They will make you leave the ship with your luggage and then re-board, security, keys, etc I've done 3 B2B cruises with Carnival, never had to take my luggage off the ship after the first leg?? troublemaker256 Posted March 13, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 13, 2017 They will make you leave the ship with your luggage and then re-board, security, keys, etc From everything I've been told this is incorrect. You should have a letter in your cabin on the last night explaining the procedures for the port, normally meet in certain location to be escorted thru customs get new sail n sign cards etc. we'll be doing our first b2b on the Valor in September. thephillykid Posted March 18, 2017 #8 Share Posted March 18, 2017 In my experience, you will NOT have to carry off your luggage and bring it back in. Also, if you have the same cabin for both legs, you do not have to pack up. If you have a different cabin, the room stewards will help you move over to the new one.Relax, things will work out. Lastly, make friends with some passengers who are not B2B and have them buy you some alcohol to enjoy in the cabin for the 2nd leg.
