Anyone flying the Sunday after Thanksgiving?

Thanks everyone! I checked the flights we would have taken if we were going this past weekend. On Sat. & Sun., they all were delayed for all different reasons. We would have made it to Miami on both days an hour later than scheduled which isn't too bad.

I did see that Chicago, Detroit, & NY all had weather delays. Since our friends are letting the cruiseline book their flights, they won't know until about 1 month before the cruise which airline or schedule they will have. I still think 1 couple may fly the day before. Not sure about the others.

I work at Dulles airport and on Sunday there were flights delayed to lots of places. Last night Atlanta and LaGuardia were BIG delays. Charlotte also had some longer-than-normal delays.

Hey, you tried to tell your friends. It's the old story, you can lead a horse to water.....

And your travel agent? That was one of the silliest statements I've ever heard. BUt it gave me a laugh! :)

Good luck whatever you decide, at least you have plenty of time to work on it.

Gail
