Magic Aft View Balcony

We just booked an Aft View Extended Balcony on Deck 7. Anyone have any experience with these type cabins?

We absolutely LOVE aft balcony & it's our first choice. In January, we opted to try a cove balcony on Magic. It was right then & there that my husband had me call our TA to change our Pride booking from a bump out balcony to an aft balcony.

I have sailed in a deck 7 aft extended balcony on the Magic once, and subsequently twice on deck 9.

 

Loved them both for the view and the nearly nonexistent foot traffic. The wake is mesmerizing and the nearly 180 degree view is amazing.

 

I preferred deck 9 because of the shade/heat issue. We sail in the summer. There is very little breeze in this location and the cabins on 6, 7, and 8 are in full sun most of the day. The overhang of the lido deck provides some shade throughout most of the day on deck 9.

 

Strictly personal preference.
