We are a family of 4 and drove from Toronto. Fast parking at pier and short walk to embarkation.Shared cabin 14808 on the Breakaway. Cabin was fantastic with an angled balcony, sofa bed and pulldown; plenty of room for our family including a 6'3' 18 yr old son and 20 yr old daughter (yes we are a close family and get along great!) Food was good in buffet and we had some wonderful meals in the 3 free dining rooms as well as Osheehans. We saw no need for extra dining plan with so many complimentary options available.

Cabin steward was awesome. Loved DanDan the Cruise Director and the staff in the dining rooms were very nice. Rock of Ages and Burn the Floor are NOT TO BE MISSED! Second City is another great show ( we went multiple times.) We opted not to pay for Cirque show.

Ropes course was so much fun (even for this 52 yr old Mom.) Hubby and kids loved the slides.

Now for the not so good - The pool is probably my biggest complaint of the whole ship, (well that, and smoking in the casino ugh.) There is one adult pool for 4000 pax. YIKES. We couldn't get near the pool so didn't utilize it.

Found the staff not as friendly as other cruise lines, nor as engaging with pax. In saying that though, the staff really did a great job of corralling 4000 people (maybe that's why not as engaging or friendly haha)

The whole freestyle dining thing has it's good and bad. We liked the freedom of dining when we wanted but sometimes the lines were at least 45 minutes, sometimes we'd get seated right away. My suggestion; make a reservation and if you don't use it, they just give it away and you wont get charged (for complimentary dining.)

Great Stirrup Cay is 4000 people on a pretty beach (use your imagination.) We had our own snorkeling gear, water chilly in March but refreshing! Weather hot and sunny :)

In Nassau we took a cab to Cabbage beach on Paradise Island (beside Atlantis.)

All in all this family of 4 had a wonderful holiday.
