One final cabin question before booking

Primarily for Skier the cabin guru Pete you posted me a pic of our last cabin 10218 balcony that looked straight and forward but not back and was huge and we loved it. They have one left like that but the opp way ie straight and back but not forward but it's up on deck 13 still starboard side. How much more shady do you think (as its right under the overhang) it would be compared to the last one which was on deck 10? Also much more noise from being under the covered pool? Your knowledge is great for newbies like me and much appreciated.

I assume you are talking about 13049/13052 .

here is a photo of 13049

the outer reaches of the balcony will not be too dark.

as for noise, they are not directly under the indoor pool, but the pool shop and bar.

In my experience the indoor pool tends to be a much calmer atmosphere than the outdoor version and noise from footfall will be at an acceptable level

bear in mind that at peak usage times you are unlikely to be in your cabin; you may be on the huge balcony so noise shouldn't be an issue for you out there.

Other than that I would expect you to be ashore or making use of other facilities around the ship and not in your cabin at peak usage times.

Most people will tell you that the cabin is for sleeping in and not much else especially with the balconies that are on those 2 cabins..

Pete

PS

just for comparison here is the other image I posted, not a great deal of difference really
