Info from RCI regarding Cozumel

I emailed RCI to ask them about our ship (the Legend OTS) stopping at Cozumel, and this was their reply:

 

"We continue to receive updated information on the progress of Cozumel's rebuilding and will update as additional modifications are made. We have confirmation from the port of Cozumel that they will be accepting limited cruise business via tender service as of November 14th. We are hopeful to be able to increase the number of our ships returning, but right now Cozumel is limiting cruise ships to a maximum of five ships per day, for all brands."

 

I have since been told that our ship is going to be one of the five ships, most likely, due to its size.

 

Hope this helps others who may be wondering how many ships will be in Coz. I'm sure as time goes by they will increase the number.

We depart on Monday, and we still don't know if we are stopping in Cozumel on Wednesday. I believe and earlier Enchantment cuise ended up going to Grand Caymen.

The Enchantment is scheduled in Cozumel on Saturday the 19th per http://www.cozumelinsider.com that is an indication of your schedule.:)

Based on that schedule, the Legend is the only ship scheduled in port this Thursday..wow!
