Social Media Internet and Facebook App question

We are going on the Magic in August, and I was wondering if we get the Social Media Internet package and I use the Facebook app on my phone, can we still do live Facebook videos, or are those blocked? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Yes but its again sketchy, cuts in and out and there is a delay in sound by about 1-3 seconds. makes it frustrating to have a conversation. Best bet is to use FB voice calls and not video calls.

 

Upgrade to the Value plan and video calling is a bit better as its a faster WiFi speed. but again there is still the delay in sound no matter what plan you use. thats just how it is with satellite internet connections. Latency/Ping is high

only one device at a time, so you can be on your laptop, log off and log onto your cell. I got the top tier, wife got the mid level, it was about $200 for the week

My understanding it is a per login thing. You can only use one device at a time while logged in but you can use that login across multiple devices just one at a time

Last 2 cruises I've made calls through Facebook and had no problems. Also we have iPhones and somehow was able to text in airplane mode. I did not have the internet package

What would be the cheapest package for just texting people overseas?

 

Same question if you just wanted to go on Facebook?
