Local Taxi or Tour Companies at Port

Was wondering when you get off the ship at Cozumel, are there a lot of local taxi / tour companies haggling for your business? If so, what was your experience with them and where did you go? How much did you spend? Thanks in advance for your help.

There is a well organized taxi line for each of the three cruise ship piers; the rates for hourly tours of the island are posted if that is what you want.

 

Black Hat and a couple of others are often suggested on this board if you want to arrange a private tour of the island.
