Oriana Into The Lights by Tepee Chose to see the Northern Lights and we weren't disappointed It's the first "cold" cruise we have ever undertaken and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Oriana is smaller than we are used to having become accustomed to the larger Azura, Britannia and Ventura. Like everything they all have their unique features. On Oriana I particularly liked the setting out and space between the tables for two in the Peninsula restaurant. I also thought the quality of the food in the Peninsula was the best we have experienced. Continue reading...Into The Lights

Britannia Fantastic Honeymoon With a Few Minor Flaws by mattshawman The choice of bars is also very varied with the Crows Nest probably being the nicest, especially if you are a fan of Gin. They do a very good selection. We spent a lot of time in Brodie's, which we loved. We are big real ale fans and they had an impressive selection for a very good price. £3.80 for a bottle is very good value for money. Also this is where most of the quizzes are held, and being big quizzers naturally we loved it there. The quizzes were very good, but some of the entertainment hosts could be a little irritating. Also after doing a few we found they re used some questions, so you can get very good with practice! We like a little gamble as well and the casino was next door. After a few beers though, I'm not sure this was good or bad! Continue reading... Fantastic Honeymoon With a Few Minor Flaws

Diamond Princess After 20 Plus Cruises, Our First Visit to the Far East by Darspurs Check in was easy but Singapore immigration is painful about an hour, almost as bad as UK citizens arriving in Miami. What we didn't know before we were on the ship was that it was actually two separate cruises 4 + 7 days. We knew we were stopping in Singapore after 4 days and some people were getting off and some on. What we didn't realise was that we would have to go through Singapore immigration twice on that day. Not the ships fault but a pain. There should be a way to have speed lines for those that were in transit to get back on and off quickly and not have to wait for those departing and rejoining.
