Cruisemom39 Posted November 19, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2005 On Majesty 11/26, with kids, wondering how to pack. This is our first Nov. cruise (all others in warmer months). Aside from watching Weather Channel, which I will be doing, I'm wondering how cold they keep the public areas of the ship this time of year? Girls will wear dresses for dinner and I'll bring sweaters; son will wear pants and button down, will bring blazer. During the day are shorts/short-sleeves okay or will they be cold? We are 6 people, so packing for every possibility is a bit problematic. I was going all-warm-weather until the temps took a nosedive here in SC this week!! Don Haynes Posted November 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2005 It will be warm in the Caribbean, over 80 degrees, and off the south coast of Florida, but it can get cold in South Carolina and northern Florida. A nice sweater or a light jacket should be enough to stay warm near Charleston, I wouldn't pack anything heavier.....
Cruisemom39 Posted November 19, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted November 19, 2005 That's what I wanted to hear - thanks! I don't want to pack lots of bulky sweaters/sweatshirts if unneccessary.
