ccndfw Posted April 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2017 Will an hour be enough for port shopping in Skagway? Are there shops close to the ship? If we only have an hour, where should we go?
xlxo Posted April 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 4, 2017 I guess it depends on which dock your ship is at. The town is 5 to 15 minutes away depending on the dock. Once in town, there's lots of shops for cruise passengers. If you go on your ship shopping talks... they'll have lots of shopping advice (including D_____d's International). Maybe grab one of those famous Red Onion calendars of Skagway?
snowmc Posted April 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2017 An hour will be cutting it close, but it is doable. If you are just looking for Alaska souvenirs, the Alaska T-shirt Company has some good options. It is at the end of the street, closest to the docks. TxEx2x Posted April 11, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 11, 2017 Are you also stopping in Ketchikan? I've always found the shopping there better than Skagway. As mentioned above, Alaska T-Shirt co is good for souvenirs and is close to the docks.
