Looking for a good place to have dinner in Norfollk evening prior to cruise can anyone advise?

How about the Freemason Abby. It is downtown and great place.

Been to Freemason already plus the night we will be in town is "wild game" night which does not appeal to us. We would prefer a good steak or seafood, just a tune-up for the cruise...........

Hi!

We are also in Norfolk the night before we sail on the Maasdam, and as it is OUR birthday.....we are exactly the same age....we would like to celebrate in a nice restaurant close to where we are staying..the Best Western on Ocean Drive.

Would be interested in some suggestions.

There are so many great resturants to choose from in Norfolk! The Blue Crab is great for seafood. Havana is great if you like Cuban. If you are feeling adventurous, you could just take a stroll down Grandby street and drop in wherever you felt the urge. I would recommend Kincaids at MacArthur Center or Ruth Chris Steak house in Virginia Beach. Another fav,is PF Changs near Ruth Chris.ENJOY !

We ate at the Blue Crab when we stayed at the Best Western. It was a short drive away and the food was very good. The servers were overworked that night, however. We felt neglected. Not sure if it was a bad night or if this is a common problem.
