toseaornottosea Posted April 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2017 Any suggestions as to what do day on a day in port in May? Is Gala Dali Castle in Pubol worth the trip? What about going to Pals and/or Peratallada?
ANNA40 Posted April 6, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2017 I think it depends on what your interests are. Palamós is in the Costa Brava (rough coast). If you like sea landscape and pretty fisher towns, I would recommend you a little taste of Costa Brava in the nearby lovely Calella de Palafrugell (12 km from Palamós). Here you can visit the town and take the road that run along the coast and reach Llafranc in 15 or 20 minutes, have a drink in the al fresco terraces by the sea... (You can google it, you know) In a working day in May it still could be rather quite If you like medieval towns you can visit Monells, Peratallada (also may be quite), Pals... If you think, or you know already, that you can enjoy the works of the surrealist painter and sculptor Dalí, go for it!
ANNA40 Posted April 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2017 I forgot about botanical gardens... https://obrasociallacaixa.org/en/centros/jardines-de-cap-roig/que-hacemos, in Calella, as well, 2.5 km from center town
