Monkey0313 Posted April 9, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2017 My mom is booked on a weekend cruise in Cabin E66. She uses a motorized scooter. We went on the Carnival Inspiration earlier this year and there was a high step up into the bathroom. I know cabin E66 is a modified cabin but no one at Carnival can tell me if this cabin has the high step up into the bathroom. Does anyone know? Anyone have pictures? Thank you! SadieN Posted April 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2017 If it's 'modified', it'll have the step. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

This I learned from searching for staterooms for Mom who can not step up. What I am not sure about is how high the step is in a modified room. I didn't pursue that information as any step is a no no for Mom.
SadieN Posted April 10, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2017 Basically a modified cabin is a regular cabin that has been retrofitted for ease of use, think handrails etc Nothing structural has changed. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Monkey0313 Posted April 13, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted April 13, 2017 Thank you everyone for the replies. I think cancelling the room is the safe bet.
candigirl Posted May 16, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 16, 2017 I was in a modified cabin on the Inspiration recently and it did not have the high step up to the bathroom.
