Did you take advantage of any specialty dining or drink package? Tips or favorite bar(s)?

Yes! I had prepurchased First Night Done Right for $15/pp, but then the guy at 150 Central Park convinced me to buy 3 nights for $85. Did that on the spot. We ate at Giovanni's on night one, 150 Central Park on night 3, and Chops on the last night. All three were EXCELLENT.

We had $825 of OBC from our travel agent so we did not get a drink package- we are strictly 2 drinks a day, maybe 3 if we are really feeling crazy.

Trellis Bar in Central Park was our favorite, such great ambiance...but that was the one and only place onboard where we encountered aloof and disinterested bar staff. It was empty, on two nights we took a table and waited for a waiter. They were behind the bar, wiping down glasses and chatting with each other and basically doing anything other than making eye contact or asking if we wanted to order. Husband finally got up, walked the step to the bar, and STILL wasn't acknowledged. (Again, only guests there!!!) But we went back because we are gluttons for punishment, AND that spot is just lovely.

All other bartenders we encountered other than there were good.

For FNDR -- were you assigned Giovannis and/ or were you offered a choice to switch? Some reports that Allure will not let you switch FNDR restaurant and only choice is either Giovannis or Samba.

We were assigned Giovanni's, which we were happy with. Didn't try to change, so I'm not sure if they allow that or not.
