Carnival legend question on aft facing balconies????

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if the aft facing balconies on the Legend are able to open up in between the cabins next door to make a large balcony? I've seen some pics where they are opened up or taken out and have had different people tell me yes and no. Has anyone done this? We are on deck 8 and have all the aft facing balconies in our group and are hoping to be able to open some up. Thanks for any info....

They used to. We once had the entire row of cabins booked and opened all the way across.

Then suddenly, restricted. Never found out why, but it may have something to do with the way they swing. There's nothing to hook or affix the door to. In fact, for ours, we used a stack of lounge chairs.
