Using OBC For Pre Booked Shore Excursion Payment

Dear Travel Partner,

 

Booking shore excursions through us improves how guests rate their overall cruise experience. Now we’ve made it even easier to purchase tours. Beginning with Fall 2017 voyages, your clients can use their onboard credit on shore excursions pre-cruise by logging on to Cruise Personalizer or calling 1-800-PRINCESS. Credit will appear automatically in your clients' accounts on Cruise Personalizer.

 

Another notable change is that, to secure excursion reservations, guests will need to prepay by credit card within 24 hours. Cancellation policies have not changed, and excursions for Summer 2017 cruises won't require prepayment. Your clients still have the freedom to cancel or modify their tours prior to the stated timeframe.

Cancellation of Prepaid Shore Excursions:

If a prepaid shore excursion is cancelled five days or more prior to sailing a refund of the prepaid amount will be made in one of two ways:

1) If there is a shore excursion balance for the guest named on the reservation being cancelled then the prepaid amount shall be applied to this balance.

or

2) If there is no shore excursion balance for the guest named on the reservation being cancelled then the prepaid amount will be refunded to the credit card used to pre-pay the shore excursion. Refunds in this instance will be made within 24 hours of cancellation. If the guest for whom the prepaid excursion is being cancelled makes another shore excursion reservation within 24 hours of cancellation, the refund will be applied to the newly made reservation.

If a prepaid shore excursion is not cancelled within the above time frame or is cancelled during the voyage prior to the "Closing Time for Cancellation" listed for the particular excursion you wish to cancel, then the prepaid amount will be refunded to the guest named on the prepaid reservation as a shipboard credit on this guest's shipboard folio. Please note this is done regardless of which guest prepaid for the shore excursion.
