Are you sailing with her? When/how will you "surprise her"?

 

My cousin, who is our TA, surprised us with slot tournament entry fees. She asked us a month after our cruise if we had won/enjoyed it.

 

I told her we had simply not received our gift. She followed up with NCL who verified we never received and she received a refund.

 

If someone is going to gift someone who will not be in board to verify the gift it might be prudent to mention they have a (vague) gift or give them a card with the note "don't open until on board".

You cannot book an appointment for a massage before you sail.
