Can you use Facebook Live with the social package? I know you can access Facebook but can you go live?

I wouldn't think so since it doesn't support video streaming.

No, you can barely use Facebook with the social package. Just not enough band width available with the social package. Depending of the ship, number of users online and time of day you might be able to use Facebook Live with the internet package just above social package, but no guarantees.

You will need the $25 per day plan if you want to stream anything be it Facebook Live or even just streaming music. The top tier one is the only package that supports video up or downloades.

Nope. I bought the best (highest price) package and it would not connect for Facebook live.

Even thought FB live wont work on the ship, there may be places in some ports where you can get free wi-fi. I've never tried it, but maybe someone here could comment if FB Live would work in that scenario.

Yes, I did FB live at the ports at places like Fat Tuesdays in Cozumel. The quality varied but was never exceptional.

I tried while we were waiting for the port to reopen due to the fog in Galveston. I wanted to show my friends how bad it was. Unfortunately, FB live didn't work using the social media package.
