Driving Tampa to Miami - avoid 95?

From what I looked up, 997 is not a new road. However it may be a good way to not be on 95.

Old SR 997 was completely replaced with New SR 997 between US 27 and US 41 (Miccosukee Resort) and is now a brand-spanking new, divided highway lined with street lights. It's a very calming, peaceful drive compared to the white-knuckle drive through the "spaghetti bowl" on I-95 via I-595.

Very nice! I'll have to give it a try.
