select to deluxe

Good morning

 

I am wondering if anyone has had any experience of upgrading their "free" Select, to the Deluxe package whilst on board. On the main boards, people seem to have been quoted different prices and been told a lot of different things. I know these drinks promotions seem to be mainly a UK thing. I feel that there will only be about 2 wines and 2 beers that fall within the "free select". Its likely they are both the equivalent of "plop" and "old mans sock". Basically, is there enough choice on select, or should I upgrade - or Pay as I go.???

 

If anyone has had any experience with the defunct "select" in the very recent times I would be grateful if you could let us know how you got on.
