Cabin 5025, Century.

Hi, I booked a gty in hopes of an upgrade and I am as of now in inside cabin 5025 on century. I will continue to try to upgrade but has anyone else had this cabin? I mainly just want to make sure it is not one of the c class cabins with the poles in it.

Hi .. wow its been a long time since we were in 5025, first year of Century but if they have kept the same room assignments I can say they had no poles and it was a quiet location. We took our first cruise on Century for our 5th anniversary, that would be 1996 and we had 5025. I remember it mostly since we went again on a transatlatic and specifically asked for the same room and got upgraded. No pole there, btw.

:D And there were no poles. In fact great location, a few feet from the elevators, the only real walk you will have is to the dining areas, and that is not really a long way. I would take that room again in a second.

We're thinking of Century in January. First cruise on her. Please educate me about poles vs no poles. In this an outside or balcony.

there are a few room on the c class ships that have support posts in the rooms and they really chop up the room. I used to know the specific room numbers but I do not have that info anymore.

From what I've read here, the pole cabins on Galaxy and Mercury are the 8 inside cabins directly behind the Guest Relations desk on Plaza deck (first 4 starboard and 4 port side). I have not found out if Century has this problem or not, but will report back after my TA calls Celebrity today.
