Great Experience With Private Tours In Europe

:) Just returned last week from Royal Caribbean's "Splendour of the Seas" cruise to Barcelona and Italy. We hired 2 private tour companies instead of using ship's tours, and I just want to let anyone interested in doing this, that we were very pleased and would recommend both companies in a "heartbeat". One was "Revelation Tours" out of Villefrance, and the other was "Bob's Limousines & Tours in Rome". They were very accommadating, always on time, and made it the best cruise experience ever. How was the Med trip at this time of year? I would like to do this (probably in 2007) but wasn't sure what the weather (and the seas) would be like. Would love to hear your overall impression.:)

The weather was fabulous, but everyone commented it was unusual and we were very lucky. Only rained on our last day in Barcelona. The rest of the days were wonderful, just a light jacket. Seas were a little rough on our first day leaving Barcelona sailing to Marseille. Only bad time. Hope this helps!
