Royal and Universal studios

Recommended Posts

I just got back from at week at the Loews Royal Pacific. I didn't (pay to) go to any of the theme parks. (A conference I was at had a free evening at Universal Studios). Enjoyed the hotel a lot and walked/boated to Universal City Walk. The restaurants at the hotel were excellent and I tried Tchoup Chop, Jakes bar, sushi place, island dining room. We hiked local trails, segwayed, swam etc. I also paid what I think was my highest amount for a drink at a pool...my wife and I picked up a taste for pina coladas when on our cruise in march...so I ordered two at $15 each, plus $3 for shots of dark rum on top, plus tax, plus tip....$45 !!!

Had a great time and I would do it again.
