Great advice on here so far, and I would agree that checking your airfare prices now is a good idea. I booked our airfare nine months out (for SFO to Copenhagen) and for the five of us in coach it was $5600. I checked the prices for our same flights after making final payment (so 90 days out) and it was $8000. Today at the 60 day out mark it fluctuates between $7500 and $9000. So the prices never came down.
