Since NCL no longer uses Nickelodeon Characters, are there any characters on ship for kids. Specifically Breakaway

Nope! NCL does not currently have a licensing agreement with any specific program or show. All of the Spongebob characters by the kids' pool were replaced in late 2015/early 2016.

Some of the bartenders are real characters.

No characters on the gem... my daughter enjoyed them back in 2015, but to be honest, splash academy was more than enough for her this go around and didn't miss the characters.
