Flight times after Cruise

Hello All,

I have searched previous threads, but did not find an answer to my question. We always fly in a day early so that is not a problem.

We get back to Fort Lauderdale on the Conquest on a Saturday. I would like to fly out of MIA on a 12:30 PM flight. If I do self-assist, my family has TSA pre-check -- is this doable? (We would take a taxi). Otherwise I would most likely have to spend another night -- we did that this Thanksgiving, but I was hoping to avoid it next year.

thoughts?

From the FLL port to the Miami airport is approximately a 45 minute drive, as long as there isn't a traffic delay. A taxi will be expensive, somewhere close to $100.00. A cheaper alternative would Uber, or make arrangements ahead of time with one of the shuttle services, such as SAS (or similar).

We've booked 11:45 to 12:15 flights from FLL for Miami cruises many times. We pre-booked SAS (ridesas dot com) and used self assist and were at the airport long enough to be bored before we could board our plane.
