We're thinking 8 hours = beach, Willemstad and shopping??? What do you think?

What to do in 8 hours???

 

We'd like to do a beach. Maybe even on our own. But what beach?

Or should we do the Beach Express excursion from the ship?

 

We'd also like to see Willemstad, tour around and shop.

 

Does any of this make sense?

 

Any suggestions to make our 8 hours memorable???

Some of the hotels, like Sandels, has day passes available. Beaches are lovely, but water shoes are a must with the coral. Shopping is not a great sport in Curacao. Save that for one of the better shopping islands. It is a lovely city to see and open air cafes to visit.
