anyone back from Galaxy PC?

watching the Web cam, I've noticed it's definitely out of Costa Maya right on time at noon so far this season. Shore excursions are not yet up for the 4/1/06 sailing I've booked. Is there really time during the morning Costa Maya stop to go see ruins? -- TR

Yes there is, you just can't sleep in that day. My inlaws did the ruin at Chechenoban and enjoyed them much more than Tulum

Do you know why your inlaws preferred the ruins at Costa Maya? I have had trouble deciding between those and the ones at Tulum -- so any input would be appreciated.

They said it was much better organized. More personal attention. Could expoler more of the ruins on your own, they are not as big as Tulum but better preserved.

Just returned from the PC cruise. My roomie booked a tour of the ruins through X and enjoyed it. She left at 7:30AM.

 

I (duh) thought we'd be in port all day and took my time. Could've gone for a nice horseback ride along the beach and through a fishing village. The ride was only $35 if you booked it with the locals.

 

Costa Maya had beautiful birds and butterflies. Would definitely like to return and check it out.

Has anyone recently taken the ruins tour with David and Ivan? I am a little leary of the short time in port and wonder how rushed the tour is and what time you got back to the ship.
