BIg Box excursions good or bad

I have most of my excursions already booked through HAL, I did buy cruise through Big Box store, and received an email about excursions, I have several open ports and was wondering has anyone used the big box excursion sites. It is a cruise to Alaska that I am going on in July.

We booked a HAL cruise from Perth to Singapore using a big box store travel dept. When we got the email about the store's excursions, my DH did a detailed comparison. When they were the same, for basically the same price, we stayed with the ship offering, but in one case, the trip offered by the store beat out the ship in the number of things seen, time, and price.

 

We were ecstatic with our choice. We had a private driver who devoted the entire day to us. He took us to everything promised and much more. We left before the buses loaded, had time to linger, and arrived on time for ship departure.
