Gordone Posted November 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2005 I rec'd tickets today but there is no mention of cabin number. Is this a common occurrence and that the cabin number will be allocated on arrival. At the time of booking in February I asked for an inside cabin on Deck 4. Gordon. lannp Posted November 28, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2005 I had a guaranteed cabin. When my tickets came the cabin had not been assigned. The week prior to the crossing I called Cunard because my TA was away and they told me what cabin had been assigned so that I could mark it on the baggage tags. I went from a guaranteed inside on Deck 5 to an inside on Deck 11.
Billym1507 Posted December 1, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 1, 2005 Hi Gordon. I am on level 4 and received my cabin number, so it,s maybe an idea to phone someone and get it sorted before you go. Billy.
Gordone Posted December 1, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted December 1, 2005 Hi Billy & Iann, Thanks for your replies. I have spoken with our TA and Cunard and both have informed me that the cabin will be allocated on the day. Our luggage labels are coded for this to happen. It will just be like a lucky dip on the day - no great hardship. 19 sleeps to go. Gordon
